Jan Korte

Jan Korte is a Berlin-based urban futurologist and sustainability policy specialist. He currently works as a Policy Officer for the German Council for Sustainable Development where is he in charge of “Dialog Nachhaltige Stadt”, a forum for transformation pioneers among German mayors. Before, he facilitated cooperative urban development and citizen participation processes, mainly in the areas of mobility, climate protection, housing and community development. Jan holds a B.A. in Political Science and Islamic Studies from the University of Freiburg/ Germany as well as a Master of Public Policy (M.P.P.) from the Hertie School of Governance, Berlin and the University of Toronto, Canada, and is currently completing a Master in Urban Future Studies at the University of Applied Sciences in Potsdam, Germany.
