Maksym Karpash is the Vice-Rector for International Affairs at Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas. He’s the administrator of the newly established Bachelor Program “Renewable Energy Engineering” supported by Energy Security Project of USAID.

Maksym was among the founders of the Science City “New Energy” – the interactive science museum established in 2016 and focused on SDGs. Science City “New Energy” attracts more than 12,000 of visitors on the annual basis.

The professional interests of Maksym vary from technical safety including standards development towards renewable energy and energy-efficiency and many related topics. The partners of numerous projects led by Maksym represent local municipalities, big and small companies, state institutions and international universities.
