Dr. Nina Chala is a Ukrainian researcher in economic and public administration and the Professor at the National University of “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy”. Dr. Chala is the co-author of The Doctrine of Sustainable Development “Ukraine 2030” (2017). Dr. Chala possess more than 20 years of proven academic, leadership, managerial experience in policy analysis, academic research, civil society leadership and advocacy on Democracy Issue, SDGs, Women Empowerment, Inclusive Business Models, Social & Human Capital Development.

In 2019, Dr. Nina Chala organized and moderated hearings in the Committee on Economic Development of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the concept of Sustainable Development of Ukraine. Now Dr. Nina Chala is a member of the working group on the development of the draft of  the law “On the State Policy for Sustainable Development of Ukraine”.
